Musicplode Media Limited is based in Windsor, Berkshire, England and initially created Beat the Intro in 2004 as a radio format and interactive DVD game, which went on to sell over 500,000 copies in the UK. Fast forward to the digital age and the game is more relevant than ever due to the proliferation of routes to market from digital stores, voice-activated services such as Amazon’s Alexa platform, modern in-flight entertainment on airlines right through to the more traditional forms such as broadcast, board games and many more.
Music has never been as ubiquitous as it presently is and with the advent of streaming Beat the Intro offers artists and songwriters alike lucrative incremental revenue. The company has spent a number of years building very valuable relationships with music labels, music publishers and application platforms such as Amazon and Apple.
We have recently appointed an innovative games publisher, PlayStack, who share our passion for our music game, and with whom we are relaunching our next version in Autumn 2018.
